Up to $60.2 Million Available in Grants To Improve Behavioral Health Outcomes for Children and Youth With Serious Emotional Disturbances


SAMHSA is accepting applications for Systems of Care Expansion and Sustainability Cooperative Agreement Grants. Up to $60.2 million is available over 4 years. The purpose of this program is to improve behavioral health outcomes for children and youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families.

Up to $54.6 Million Available in Grants To Expand Substance Abuse Treatment Capacity in Adult Treatment Drug Courts and Adult Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts


The purpose of this program is to expand and enhance treatment services for substance use disorders in adult problem-solving courts and adult Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts.

SAMHSA Provides Nearly $77.2 Million in Grants To Promote Earlier Treatment for Substance Use Disorders


SAMHSA is providing up to $77.2 million in funding over several years to programs promoting screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (SBIRT) programs. SBIRT is a comprehensive, integrated, public health approach to the delivery of early intervention and treatment services for persons with substance use disorders, as well as those who are at risk of developing these disorders.

SAMHSA Provided up to $46.6 Million for Treatment Drug Courts


SAMHSA has provided up to $46.6 million over 3 years for treatment drug court programs for people involved in the criminal justice system who have substance use disorders and co-occurring mental and substance use disorders.
