Congenital SyphilisDid you know that congenital syphilis is increasing in the United States? According to the CDC, women accounted for about one in 10 syphilis cases in 2015, or 2,298 total cases. The syphilis rate increased 27.3% among women 2014–2015. CDC has a number of tools and resources to protect women and pregnant patients. |
TAG TalksThe Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) announced the first two videos in a new series created as part of the Adolescent Health: Think, Act, Grow® (TAG) call to action. The video series is co-sponsored by OAH and the federal Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs. The video “The Power of the Adolescent Brain” reviews adolescent brain development and how it affects learning, health, and behavior.
